Mrs. Sanaa Hassounah the General Manager for Swiss IP, a strategic KeyOptions Partner in Kuwait, suggested to MOE Kuwait the KeyOptions Inpixon security solution to detect devices within the examination areas. KeyOptions has provided to MOE the Inpixon solution: the first unified Real Time Location System (uRTLSTM) designed to deliver full scope real time location and monitoring of all mobile devices; cellular, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, from a single security dashboard which will help MOE to detect instances of devices in the exam hall in real time and stop the usage of these device types when the exams are being conducted.
The Minister Dr. Mohammed Al Fares indicated that MOE are serious to follow any new technology developments to support the educational systems in Kuwait to result in better infrastructure in the educational system.
Mrs. Hassounah announced that using the KeyOptions Inpixon solution to support the educational sector is a first worldwide and MOE Kuwait is the first government organisation who have used this solution for educational needs as the KeyOptions Inpixon solution has mainly been deployed in prisons, VIP meeting rooms, defence, government, healthcare, commercial malls, etc.
MOE – Kuwait Minister within his media announcement about MOE’s strategic plans to enhance MOE performance, spoke about the challenges the MOE is facing dealing with final exams. MOE wants to provide better outcomes for students by eliminating the use of any additional technology within the examination areas to assist them. MOE announced how the KeyOptions Inpixon solution was successful at the final exams where the solution supported the Ministry to trace and detect devices which gave them accurate, real-time evidence of how the system was extremely effective in solving these types of occurrences during this period.
Mrs. Sanaa Hassounah has also announced that the KeyOptions Inpixon solution “Has already started changing the mentality of students and parents towards a better educational system providing the best possible outcomes for all students under the most appropriate exam conditions, without any technology help. This means that the students must depend on their hard work and ethics in learning. The immediate impact on students as they saw its accuracy, led most of the them to be better prepared without depending on any other technology assisting them.”
Mrs. Hassounah elaborated as well that the KeyOptions Inpixon solution tracks assets and devices all over the premises to protect and uphold policies. Alert notifications based on rules can be used when unknown devices are detected in restricted areas. As this technology is passive, it has no negative effect on human well-being, compared to jamming systems that have been tested and used previously in educational environments.
